About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and responsible Barista to — a unique coffee and library café designed for adults who enjoy coffee, books, conversations, and a relaxed experience.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling customers, preparing beverages, maintaining the café, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, cold beverages, sandwiches, and other menu items according to café standards.

• Take customer orders and handle billing/POS operations.

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, counter, and equipment.

• Monitor stock of coffee, milk, ingredients, packaging, and other supplies.

• Assist customers with the café's RC experience and activities when required.

• Help maintain books, seating areas, and the overall café environment.

• Support café events such as music nights, karaoke, open mic, and other activities.

• Assist with basic Instagram/social-media content and promotions when required.

• Handle opening and closing duties responsibly.

• Coordinate with the café manager/owner to ensure smooth daily operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Good communication and customer-service skills.

• Friendly, confident, and presentable personality.

• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Basic computer/POS knowledge.

• Punctual, honest, responsible, and willing to learn.

• Comfortable working evening and weekend shifts.

• Previous café, restaurant, hospitality, or barista experience is an advantage.
