Barista

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Barista Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages and assisting with food preparation, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment where precision, efficiency, and hospitality are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages and teas.

• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with consistency.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station.

• Recommend beverages and upsell additional items when appropriate.

• Maintain inventory of coffee supplies and notify manager when stock is low.

Chef Duties (Light Food Prep):

• Prepare and assemble breakfast items, sandwiches, pastries, and light meals.

• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.

• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food storage organization.

• Follow recipes and presentation standards for consistent quality.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a barista and/or in a kitchen prep role.

• Familiarity with brewing methods and coffee equipment.

• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food hygiene practices.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Food Handling Certification (preferred).

Working Conditions:

• Shifts may include weekends and holidays.

• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.
