Job Description
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety.
Preparing and Serving Beverages:
Making a variety of coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), tea, and other specialty beverages.
Customer Service:
Greeting customers, taking orders, explaining menu items, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Operating Coffee Equipment:
Operating espresso machines, grinders, milk frothers, and other related equipment.
Cash Handling:
Processing payments (cash, credit/debit), and making change.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintaining a clean workspace, cleaning equipment, and restocking supplies.
Food Service:
May also involve serving prepared food items like pastries, sandwiches, or snacks.
Stock Management:
Keeping track of inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
Adhering to Safety Standards:
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Additional Skills and Qualities:
Knowledge of Coffee: Understanding different brewing methods, coffee varieties, and specialty drink recipes.
Communication Skills: Clearly communicating with customers and staff.
Problem-solving: Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and adapting to changing situations.
