Bakery Chef

Job Description:

Waffle Castle is hiring enthusiastic Team Members / Waffle Makers to support daily store operations. The role includes food preparation, customer service, billing, order fulfillment, and maintaining cleanliness and quality standards in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare waffles, mini pancakes, waffle sticks, shakes, and other menu items according to standard recipes and operating procedures.

• Maintain product quality, portion consistency, and presentation standards.

• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment while following food safety and hygiene practices.

• Follow inventory rotation procedures and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and service areas.

• Welcome customers, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service.

• Process billing transactions using the POS system.

• Prepare and hand over online delivery orders accurately and on time.

• Assist with food preparation, packaging, and counter operations during busy periods.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow company uniform and grooming standards.

• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve operational and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a QSR, café, bakery, retail, hospitality, or customer service environment is preferred but not mandatory.

• Freshers are encouraged to apply.

• Basic understanding of food hygiene and customer service principles is an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
