Job purpose
The purpose of this job would be to provide the students the relevant training in the field of
Kitchen Operations and Culinary Arts, particularly in cooking and preparing bakery & patisserie
dishes. The students will be from various backgrounds. The Trainer will have the purpose to teach
the designed curriculum in the designated time with the help of practical and classroom sessions.
Working days: 6 (Monday to Saturday)
Timings: 9 am to 6 pm
Duties and responsibilities
• Delivering lectures to the students in the classrooms.
• Conducting practical for the students in the kitchen.
• Maintaining class attendance records.
• Completing the designed curriculum in time.
• Proper and regular assessment of the growth of the students.
• Preparing progress reports and assessment records.
• Reporting the progress in curriculum regularly to the reporting person.
• Conduct doubt clearing sessions with students.
• Organizing workshops inside and outside the campus (if required).
• Preparing, editing and creating content for the courses (as per the requirement).
• Delivering demo classes for the prospective students (if required).
Qualifications
• Diploma/Graduation/Post Graduation in Hotel Management with a specialization in
cookery.
• Skills in the field of Culinary Arts (Indian, Continental, Bakery) will be preferred.
Knowledge in bakery & patisserie is a must.
• Any related certifications and additional qualification in the field of Cuisine and Kitchen
Operations would be preferred.
• Must have a cool temperament and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication skills are a must along with the knack of using the
kitchen/culinary terminology
