Job Title: Cold Bakery Chef (Ice Cream Parlor)

Reports to: Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Cold Bakery Chef to join our team at the ice cream parlor. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating unique and delicious ice cream flavors, sundaes, and other frozen desserts. They will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ice Cream Production: Prepare and produce high-quality ice cream flavors, sundaes, and frozen desserts.

2. Recipe Development: Create new and innovative ice cream flavors, recipes, and products.

3. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.

4. Presentation: Display and present ice cream products attractively and appealingly.

5. Customer Service: Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.

6. Inventory Management: Manage ice cream inventory, track stock levels, and order supplies as needed.

7. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, equipment, and utensils.

8. Collaboration: Work with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and product delivery.

Requirements:

1. Experience in ice cream production, cold bakery, or a related field.

2. Knowledge of ice cream making techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

3. Creativity and innovation in product development.

4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

6. Food safety and hygiene certifications (e.g., FSSAI).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Diploma or degree in Bakery and Pastry Arts or a related field.

2. Experience with ice cream machines and equipment.

3. Knowledge of food trends and seasonal ingredients.
