Position: Bakery CDP / DCDP

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Bakery CDP/DCDP to join our team at a busy café and bakery. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in bakery production, a background in hotel or premium bakery setups, and the ability to lead with efficiency, creativity, and sincerity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily bakery production, ensuring top-quality output and consistent presentation standards.
• Prepare a wide range of products — artisan breads, cakes, desserts, and viennoiserie — with precision and attention to detail.
• Supervise and train junior team members; maintain workflow and discipline in the bakery.
• Manage production schedules, inventory, and daily mise-en-place efficiently.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
• Assist in recipe development and testing for new menu items.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Bakery CDP/DCDP, preferably in hotels or reputed bakery cafés.
• Strong technical knowledge of bakery fundamentals — breads, cakes, desserts, and laminated doughs.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) — effective communication is essential.
• Basic computing skills (Excel, recipe costing, documentation, etc.).
• Proven leadership qualities and ability to manage a team.
• Highly efficient, disciplined, and sincere in approach.
• Flexible, organized, and able to perform well under pressure.
