Job Description

Job Opening: Assistant Cook (Male)

Location: Upasani Super Speciality Hospital Pvt. Ltd.

We are looking for a Male Assistant Cook with a minimum 1 year of experience in catering or canteen services. Since the role is in a hospital canteen, the candidate must maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the main cook in daily food preparation

  • Ensure hygienic food handling and timely food service

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and TL during dining hours

  • Maintain food inventory and proper storage at correct temperatures

  • Follow portion control and food presentation standards

  • Serve food as per dietitian’s advice

  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen and prep area after each shift

  • Be aware of food waste management

  • Help in preparing cost-effective food menus
