Job Description: Content Writer / Social Media Content Developer
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer / Social Media Content Developer to plan, create, and manage engaging written content across various digital and social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of audience engagement, brand voice, and content strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop high-quality, engaging, and original text-based content including posts, captions, articles, blogs, and campaign messages tailored for different social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Strategy Alignment:
Ensure all content aligns with the organization’s brand voice, communication objectives, and marketing strategy. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to maintain consistency in tone and messaging.
Content Planning:
Create, maintain, and update content calendars to plan social media posts, campaigns and events in advance. Coordinate timely publishing across channels.
Research and Ideation:
Conduct research on industry trends, audience insights, and competitors to develop relevant and appealing content ideas.
Collaboration:
Work closely with graphic designers, video editors and marketing teams to develop integrated content pieces for campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, Journalism or related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
* Ability to write creative, concise, and impactful content tailored to different audiences.
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities.
