Senior Content Editor

We are looking for a Senior Content Editor to join our team to create engaging and informative content for school books. This position comes with an in-hand salary of ₹25,000 - ₹45,000 and a chance to contribute to a creative and collaborative content team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Development & Review

• Edit manuscripts for clarity, grammar, and structure

• Ensure content matches the school curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, etc.)

• Check facts, figures, and examples for accuracy

• Simplify complex concepts for student understanding

2. Curriculum Alignment

• Work with syllabus guidelines and educational frameworks

• Ensure topics are covered as per grade-level requirements

• Maintain logical sequencing of chapters and concepts

3. Language & Readability

• Adapt language to suit different age groups

• Maintain consistent tone and style

• Ensure instructions and explanations are easy to follow

4. Coordination with Authors & Designers

• Collaborate with subject experts, writers, and illustrators

• Provide feedback and suggest improvements

• Work with designers on layout, diagrams, and visuals

5. Proofreading & Quality Control

• Check final drafts for errors before printing

• Ensure consistency in formatting, headings, and terminology

• Review tables, charts, and images for correctness

6. Compliance & Standards

• Follow publishing guidelines and educational policies

• Ensure content is inclusive, unbiased, and appropriate

Required Skills
