Proof Reader

We are looking for a meticulous and passionate Content Editor / Proofreader(preferred school books proofreader in publication) to join our publishing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, clarity, accuracy, and consistency of manuscript content before publication. This role requires a strong command of language, excellent attention to detail, and deep knowledge of grammar, style, formatting, and publishing standards.

Proofreading

• Check manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax errors.

• Ensure consistency with style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, house style).

• Correct formatting issues, citations, references, and typography errors.

Coordination

• Work with editors, designers, and production teams to finalize files.

• Track revisions and maintain version control.

• Adhere to timelines and workflow schedules.

Quality Control

• Collaborate with authors to resolve queries and recommend improvements.

• Verify factual accuracy within text where applicable.

• Ensure final manuscript meets publication standards prior to printing or digital release.
