Proof Reader

A leading book publishing house invites applications for the position of Proofreader for books in English, Hindi, and Sanskrit.

Responsibilities:

• Proofreading manuscripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency in English, Hindi, and/or Sanskrit.

• Ensuring adherence to our in-house style guide and publishing standards.

• Cross-checking references, diacritics, transliteration, and citations.

• Collaborating with editors and typesetters to ensure high-quality final output.

Requirements:

• Strong command of at least one of the following languages: English, Hindi, or Sanskrit (knowledge of multiple languages will be preferred).

• Attention to detail and familiarity with academic or Indological texts.

• Prior proofreading or editing experience will be an advantage.

• Candidates residing in or near Sudarshan Park / Punjabi Bagh / Ramesh Nagar / ESI Hospital areas will be preferred.
