Job Description:

• Proofread manuscripts, page proofs, and advance copies for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and typographical errors

• This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and credibility of books and other printed or digital materials.  

• Ensure consistency with established style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style)

• Check layout elements such as headings, page numbers, captions, footnotes, and indexes

• Verify cross-references, table of contents, and pagination accuracy

• Review typeset material for formatting and design inconsistencies

• Mark corrections using standard proofreading symbols or digital tools

• Exceptional command of English language and grammar

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors

• Familiarity with publishing workflows and production stages

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Publishing, Journalism, or related field only Regular One

• Previous experience in book, magazine, or digital publishing

Additional Information:

• Candidates must be comfortable working 6 days a week

• Immediate joiners will be preferred
