Bharat Gazette is looking for a young, energetic and responsible News Writer who has a strong interest in current affairs, digital journalism and news media. This opportunity is suitable for fresh graduates who want to begin their career in journalism and develop professional skills in news writing, research and digital content creation.

The selected candidate will work with the editorial and social media team to research, verify and prepare news content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write national, international, political, business, education and social news.

• Prepare clear, concise and engaging news articles, headlines and summaries.

• Follow daily news developments and identify important or trending stories.

• Verify facts and information from reliable sources before publication.

• Rewrite information from press releases, reports and official announcements into original news content.

• Prepare scripts and content for YouTube videos, social media posts, reels and digital news platforms.

• Assist the editorial team in developing story ideas and special features.

• Maintain proper grammar, factual accuracy and professional journalistic standards.

• Meet daily content deadlines.

• Learn and use digital tools, AI-assisted research tools and content-management platforms responsibly.

Candidate Profile

• Fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of experience.

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Political Science, Media Studies or a related field preferred.

• Strong command of written English.

• Knowledge of Hindi will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of current affairs and general knowledge.

• Ability to research information quickly and accurately.

• Good writing, editing and communication skills.

• Basic understanding of social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X.

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-moving news environment.
