Copywriter

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Copywriter to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, a flair for writing, and the ability to create compelling copy across digital and print platforms. You will work closely with graphic designers, creative strategists, and client servicing teams to develop engaging communication that aligns with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for social media, digital campaigns, print advertisements, brochures, websites, emailers, and other marketing materials.

• Assist in developing campaign concepts, taglines, headlines, and brand messaging.

• Adapt copy for different platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

• Collaborate with designers and the creative team to create impactful communication.

• Conduct basic research to understand client industries, target audiences, and market trends.

• Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness.

• Incorporate client feedback and revise copy as required.

• Stay updated on advertising, content, and digital marketing trends.

• Support the team with presentations, pitches, and brainstorming sessions.

Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.

• Strong grammar, vocabulary, and proofreading skills.

• Creative thinking with the ability to generate fresh ideas.

• Understanding of branding, advertising, and digital marketing.

• Ability to write for different audiences and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising, English, Marketing, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, advertising, or digital marketing.

• Internship experience in an advertising agency or creative studio is an added advantage.

• A portfolio of writing samples or published work is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SEO copywriting and social media content creation.

• Basic understanding of content strategy and brand communication.

• Experience with AI-assisted writing tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of current advertising and social media trends.
