Content Writer

We’re looking for a talented and creative Content Writer to join our dynamic team and help us craft compelling, data-driven menus and marketing content for our clients.

As a Content Writer – Menu Engineering & Marketing, your primary responsibility will be to design and optimize restaurant menus that drive profitability, improve customer experience, and reflect the latest culinary trends. You will research and analyse various cuisine trends, customer preferences, and pricing strategies to create menus that resonate with target audiences. Additionally, you will support our marketing efforts by producing high-quality content for a variety of channels.

Key Responsibilities:

●      Menu Engineering & Development:

○      Conduct thorough research on the latest food trends, popular dishes, and emerging cuisines to inform the development of restaurant menus.

○      Work closely with team consultants to create and optimize menus that align with the restaurant’s brand identity and goals.

○      Develop clear, concise, and persuasive item descriptions that highlight dish features and enhance customer appeal.

○      Collaborate on creating seasonal or themed menus, limited-time offers, and promotional menus.

●      Trend Research & Reporting:

○      Stay up-to-date with global and local dining trends, new ingredients, food innovations, and consumer behaviour related to restaurant offerings.

○      Analyse competitors' menus and industry case studies to help guide strategic menu decisions for clients.

●      Marketing Content Creation:

○      Assist in creating engaging content for various marketing materials, including blog posts, email newsletters, social media, and website copy.

○      Write compelling and SEO-friendly content that supports brand messaging and drives engagement for client restaurants.

●      Collaboration & Strategy:

○      Provide input into restaurant brand positioning and content strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels.

○      Collaborate with the consulting team to understand client goals and offer content solutions that support their business objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior hands-on experience in the food & beverage / restaurant industry is required.

• Experience: 2+ years of writing experience (Professionally / In college), preferably in the food & beverage or restaurant industry. Experience with menu engineering or content creation for food service is a plus.

• Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong research abilities and the capacity to translate complex trends into accessible content.

• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and conceptually to design menu content that is both engaging and functional.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with various cuisines, food trends, and menu pricing strategies. A passion for food and dining is a must!

• Tech-Savvy: Experience with content management systems (CMS), basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva), and SEO best practices.

• Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across departments and with clients.

• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
