Content Writer

Key Responsibilities

• Write and publish high-quality, SEO-optimized content including blogs, articles, landing pages, web pages, product/service descriptions, etc.

• Perform keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords with appropriate density, keyword proximity, and prominence to boost search rankings.

• Optimize metadata (titles, meta descriptions), headers (H1/H2/H3…), and internal linking to align with SEO best practices.

• Collaborate with SEO, marketing, design or product teams to align content with brand voice, marketing goals, and target audience.

• Conduct research on industry-relevant topics to ensure accuracy, relevance and value in content.

• Edit, proofread and polish content before publication; ensure consistency in tone, style and quality across content.

• Manage multiple writing assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain an editorial calendar if required.

• Optionally: Update and refresh existing content for SEO improvements (content audits, optimizations) — especially valuable if you maintain evergreen content.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass-Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field. A

• 1–2 years (or similar) of experience in content writing / SEO content writing / digital content creation.

• Strong command of English — writing, grammar, editing, clarity and readability.

• Basic understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata, internal linking, readability, content structure) and a willingness to learn and grow in SEO.

• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) or willingness to learn.

• Ability to research topics, organize information, and write original, engaging and accurate content. O

• Good time-management, ability to handle multiple tasks/assignments, meet deadlines consistently.

• Attention to detail, editing/proofreading skills, and ability to adapt writing style / tone to target audience or brand voice.
