We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Researcher and Creator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching complex topics related to quality management systems, product certifications, and industry standards, and transforming them into clear, engaging, and informative content. The ideal candidate is a curious researcher, a skilled writer, and a storyteller who can simplify technical information for a broad audience. You will be instrumental in developing content that builds our brand authority, educates our target audience, and drives business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Content Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics, including BIS, ISO, TEC, and BEE standards, certification processes, and regulatory updates to develop original, high-quality content.
Content Creation: Write, edit, and publish various types of content, such as insightful blog posts, detailed articles, website copy, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and SEO teams to develop a content calendar that aligns with our business goals and marketing campaigns.
Audience Engagement: Simplify complex technical information into accessible and engaging content that resonates with our target audience of manufacturers, importers, and industry professionals.
Proofreading and Editing: Ensure all content is well-written, factually accurate, and free of grammatical errors before publication.
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts within the company to gather information and ensure the technical accuracy of all materials.
Required Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of proven experience in content creation, technical writing, or a similar role.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of published articles or content.
Demonstrated ability to research complex topics and present information in a clear and concise manner.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing for a B2B audience, particularly in the technical, legal, or industrial sectors.
Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content marketing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
