Job Description

We are looking for a Content Writer & Editor to join our team at Indian Educational Services to create engaging and informative content for websites, blogs and social media platforms. This position comes with an in-hand salary of ₹22,000 - ₹40,000 and a chance to contribute to a creative and collaborative content team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and edit high-quality content for blogs, websites, social media, brochures, newsletters, emails, and press releases.
    ● Develop compelling, informative, and SEO-friendly articles related to education, career guidance, admissions, and ed-tech trends.
    ● Create engaging content for social media platforms (captions, posts, infographics, and short-form content).
    ● Work closely with the Design, Social Media and SEO Team to optimize content for search engines and improve website traffic.
    ● Develop content for promotional materials, advertisements, and campaigns.
    ● Assist in writing scripts for promotional videos, interviews, and presentations.
    ● Proofread and edit content to ensure high-quality and error-free writing.
    ● Stay updated with the latest trends in content marketing, education sector developments, and ed-tech innovations.
    ● Repurpose content across multiple formats (blogs to social media snippets, whitepapers, e-books, etc.).
    ● Collaborate with the graphic design and video editing team to create visually appealing content.
    Requirements:
    ● Minimum 1 year of experience in content writing, journalism, or a related field.
    ● Excellent command of English (written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages (Hindi and Kannada) is a plus.
    ● Strong research skills and the ability to write well-structured, informative, and engaging content.
    ● Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research, and digital marketing trends.
    ● Ability to create original, plagiarism-free, and grammatically sound content.
    ● Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress), social media management, and content scheduling tools is a plus.
    ● Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
