Content Writer & Editor

We are seeking a Sub-Editor with 2–3 years of experience in editorial work. The ideal candidate should have excellent language skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all content.The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹30,000 - ₹35,000 and prospects of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing & Proofreading Copy – Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and ensure clarity, accuracy, and readability of articles before publication.

• Writing Catchy Headlines – Create sharp, attention-grabbing tabloid-style headlines and subheads that attract readers instantly.

• Fact-Checking Information – Verify names, dates, events, quotes, and claims to maintain credibility and avoid legal issues.

• Condensing & Structuring Content – Trim lengthy reports into crisp, engaging stories while keeping the core message intact.

• Ensuring Style & Tone Consistency – Maintain the magazine’s tabloid voice, style guidelines, and editorial standards across stories.

• Coordinating with Reporters & Designers – Work closely with writers, photographers, and layout designers to fit content into page layouts effectively.

• Final Page Review Before Print – Check page proofs for errors in text, captions, headlines, and placements before the issue goes to print.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience as a Sub-Editor or similar editorial role

• Strong command of English (and regional language, if applicable)

• Understanding of layout, design, and publication processes

• Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills

• Coordinate with writers, designers, and production teams

• Manage content deadlines and on-site execution where required

• Maintain overall quality and consistency of published material
