We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager who can handle vendor management, purchase planning, and material procurement smoothly. The candidate should ensure materials are available on time, at the best price, and with good quality.
Key Responsibilities
Understand material requirements from production and store teams
Search for reliable suppliers and compare prices
Negotiate with vendors for better pricing and payment terms
Prepare and share Purchase Orders with suppliers
Maintain good relationships with vendors
Track delivery timelines and ensure materials arrive on time
Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or extra stock
Check market prices and trends regularly
Work closely with production, admin, and accounts teams
Maintain proper purchase records and reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain / Commerce / Business preferred)
8+ years of experience in purchasing (Indian market experience required)
Strong negotiation and cost-saving skills
Knowledge of vendor management and inventory control
Good communication and coordination skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Good email communication skills.
Needs to be from Interior/ Furniture background.
