Collection Officer

Job Summary:

Sri Palani Murugan Traders, a leading cement distributor in Coimbatore, is looking for a reliable and loyal Collection Officer to manage payment receivables from customers through field visits and phone follow-ups. The role involves collecting cash/cheques, recovering overdue payments, delivering bills, coordinating with banks, and maintaining accurate records of collections. The candidate must be honest, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high-value cash transactions with integrity. engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Make calls and follow up with customers regarding pending payments.

·       Visit customer locations to collect cash or cheques safely and responsibly.

·       Deliver bills, invoices, and account statements to clients on time.

·       Track and recover overdue payments and bad debts professionally.

·       Maintain accurate records of daily collections, follow-ups, and pending receivables.

·       Handle banking tasks such as cash/cheque deposits and related account work.

·       Support sales and marketing promotions by representing the brand positively in the field.

·       Act with honesty, confidentiality, and professionalism in all dealings.

·       Coordinate with accounts and sales teams to report daily updates and issues.

Requirements:

·        Education: 10th / 12th / Diploma / Any Degree

·        Experience in collections, recovery, or field operations preferred

·        Must be honest, loyal, and careful with financial transactions

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills

·        Familiarity with Coimbatore and surrounding areas

·        Basic knowledge of billing/accounting is a plus

Work Schedule:

·        Working Days: Monday to Saturday

·        Working Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m

Salary & Benefits:

·       Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and performance)

·       Two-Wheeler: Provided by the company

·       Petrol Allowance: Fully reimbursed

·       Mobile Phone: Provided
