Core Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Scanning items, itemizing costs, and processing cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints in a professional manner.
Cash Management: Balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining proper change.
Operational Duties: Bagging, boxing, or wrapping items, processing returns/exchanges, and restocking merchandise near the checkout area.
Safety & Compliance: Following company procedures to prevent theft, fraud, and ensuring compliance with age-restricted purchases.
