Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately

  • Issue bills, receipts, refunds, and change to customers

  • Maintain daily cash register and reconcile cash at the end of the shift

  • Record all transactions in billing software or POS system

  • Ensure correct pricing and discounts are applied

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash counter

  • Assist customers with queries regarding billing and payments

  • Report discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor

  • Support inventory and store operations when required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+2 or Graduate (Commerce preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and billing

  • Experience with POS systems and MS Excel (preferred)

  • Good communication and customer handling skills

  • Basic math and numerical skills

  • Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
