Job Description – Banking Cashier (Branch Banking)
Position: Banking Cashier / Branch Banking Executive
Department: Branch Banking

Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Banking Cashier to manage cash transactions and provide efficient banking services at the branch. The candidate will be responsible for handling cash, processing customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily cash transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals.
- Verify customer details, signatures, and transaction documents.
- Maintain accurate cash records and ensure proper cash balancing at the end of the day.
- Process cheques, demand drafts, fund transfers, and other branch transactions as required.
- Assist customers with account-related queries and provide appropriate banking services.
- Identify and report suspicious or unusual transactions as per bank guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and internal banking procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and transaction details.
- Coordinate with branch staff for smooth and efficient branch operations.
- Support customer service and other branch activities when required.
Eligibility & Skills
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Com, BBA, B.A., or equivalent preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant banking/cash-handling experience may apply.
- Good numerical and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer-service oriented with a professional attitude.
- Ability to handle cash responsibly and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic banking products and services will be an advantage.
