The Billing Executive is responsible for efficiently handling customer purchases at the checkout counter. This includes scanning products, processing payments, generating bills, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth and pleasant checkout experience.
Greet customers politely and assist them with the billing process.
Scan items using POS (Point of Sale) system and ensure accurate billing.
Handle cash, credit/debit card, UPI, or other payment methods securely.
Issue printed receipts and ensure the correct change is returned.
Address customer questions or concerns regarding prices, offers, or products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.
Follow store policies on returns, refunds, and discounts.
Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift.
Coordinate with the inventory and stock team for any pricing or barcode issues.
Report technical issues with billing machines or POS systems promptly.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in retail or billing is an advantage.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with POS systems and billing software.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
