Cashier

Urgently need a restaurant cashier experienced in using Petpooja Point of Sale (POS) software for billing, payment handling, and generating daily reports. They should also have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and basic math skills to manage transactions accurately. Experience with general restaurant operations, such as cash management and daily settlements, is also important. 

Skills and qualifications

• Software proficiency: Experience with Petpooja POS software is mandatory or highly preferred.

• Billing and payment handling: Ability to accurately punch bills, collect payments (cash, cards), and manage all financial transactions at the counter.

• Reporting: Capability to handle and understand daily sales reports and end-of-day settlements.

• Customer service: Must be able to handle customer interactions calmly and professionally.

• Attention to detail: A critical skill for minimizing errors in billing and cash handling.

• Basic math skills: Essential for handling transactions accurately.

• Restaurant experience: Prior experience working as a cashier in a restaurant or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment is preferred. 

• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant

• Cross sell food items to the customers in order to increase restaurant sales

Job timings- 1 PM to 12 AM
