Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and customer-friendly Cashier to handle billing, process payments and maintain accurate daily sales records at our restaurant outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and accurately enter orders into the POS billing system.

• Generate bills and collect payments through cash, cards, UPI and other approved methods.

• Verify successful payments and provide receipts and correct change.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure orders are processed correctly.

• Maintain the opening cash balance and reconcile cash and digital payments against POS reports at shift closing.

• Prepare daily sales reports and hand over collections as per company procedures.

• Process discounts, cancellations and refunds only with the required approval.

• Immediately report billing errors, payment discrepancies or cash shortages to the Outlet Manager.

• Respond to customer queries and escalate complaints when necessary.

• Keep the billing counter clean and organised.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum qualification: 12th pass; graduates are welcome.

• Previous cashier or billing experience in a restaurant, hotel or retail outlet is preferred.

• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS billing software.

• Good numerical ability, attention to detail and cash-handling skills.

• Clear communication skills and a courteous attitude.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• It is a Full Time Cashier job for candidates with 0 - 2 years of experience.
