Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cashier to join our team in the jewellery retail industry. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, a basic understanding of accounting procedures, and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately in a fast-paced showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all customer payments through cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment modes.

• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and prepare cash reports at end-of-day.

• Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds when necessary.

• Ensure all billing is done accurately with proper GST compliance.

• Cross-check and tally cash & card transactions against the POS system.

• Handle customer queries politely and escalate issues when required.

• Assist in maintaining petty cash and submitting periodic reports to accounts team.

• Coordinate with sales staff to verify product details and amounts.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the billing counter area.

• Handle gold loan settlements (if applicable) and EMI payments responsibly.
