Cashier

• Process transactions: Operate the cash register or Point of Sale (POS) system to accurately scan items and process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile wallets.

• Handle payments and receipts: Accept payments, issue accurate change, and provide customers with receipts, refunds, or credits as needed.

• Provide customer service: Greet customers, answer questions about products and promotions, and help resolve issues or complaints with a helpful and courteous attitude.

• Manage cash drawer: Count the cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure it balances and report any discrepancies.

• Maintain checkout area: Keep the checkout counter and surrounding areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.

• Follow store policies: Adhere to security, anti-theft, and fraud prevention policies.
