Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers politely and assist them during checkout.
Scan grocery items and ensure correct pricing.
Handle payments through cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, or other payment methods.
Issue receipts, refunds, and correct change to customers.
Pack groceries carefully to avoid damage to items.
Maintain the cash register and ensure accurate cash balance at the end of the shift.
Apply discounts, coupons, and promotional offers during billing.
Resolve basic customer queries and escalate complaints to the supervisor if required.
Keep the checkout counter clean and organized.
Assist with shelf restocking or product arrangement when required.
