Cashier

• Handle transactions:

  Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and other payments accurately, issue receipts, and make change. 

• Provide customer service:

  Greet customers, answer questions about the menu and policies, and resolve any complaints or issues in a courteous manner. 

• Take orders:

  Take customer orders for dine-in or takeout, ensure accuracy, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff. 

• Manage the cash register:

  Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of a shift, handle cash and credit card transactions, and process any refunds or exchanges. 

• Maintain cleanliness:

  Keep the cashier station and surrounding area clean, organized, and stocked.
