Cashier

About the Role

We are looking for a Cashier to join our team at Box Bites, Gopalan Mall. The cashier will be responsible for handling all customer transactions efficiently while ensuring a smooth and pleasant billing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service at the billing counter.

• Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital transactions accurately.

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system for order billing.

• Issue bills, receipts, refunds, and vouchers as required.

• Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

• Assist in packing and verifying food orders before handing them to customers.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.

• Coordinate with service staff and kitchen for smooth order management.

• Follow all cash handling, security, and hygiene policies.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a cashier, billing executive, or customer service role (F&B/Retail preferred).

• Familiarity with POS systems and digital payment platforms.

• Good numerical and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (especially during peak mall hours).

• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass; Diploma/Graduate preferred.
