Job Responsibilities
Greet customers politely and provide good customer service.
Scan products and generate bills using the POS (Point of Sale) billing system.
Accept payments through cash, debit/credit cards, UPI, and other approved payment methods.
Handle cash accurately and provide the correct change to customers.
Check prices, discounts, and offers while billing products.
Issue receipts and handle billing-related customer queries.
Maintain an accurate cash balance and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Keep the billing counter clean and organized.
Coordinate with other store staff to ensure smooth checkout operations.
Follow company policies, security procedures, and customer service standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 10th or 12th pass (depending on company requirements).
Basic mathematics and numerical skills.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn billing software.
Honesty, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
