Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide them with outstanding customer service.
Address customer questions, concerns, and returns in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information about store promotions, offers, and loyalty programs.
Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, ensuring customers have a pleasant shopping experience.
Cash Handling and Transactions:
Accurately process customer purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and digital payment methods securely.
Provide correct change, receipts, and process returns or exchanges according to company policies.
Ensure that all transactions are completed efficiently and without errors.
Register and Store Maintenance:
Maintain an organized and clean cashier area, ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is operational.
Monitor and report any issues with the POS system, registers, or other equipment to management.
Ensure the checkout area is free from clutter and safe for customers and staff.
Team Collaboration:
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations.
Support colleagues in other departments when needed, such as assisting with restocking or maintaining store displays.
