Key Responsibilities:
Handle cash counter and daily billing operations efficiently.
Process cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately.
Generate invoices and bills using the POS system.
Ensure correct pricing, discounts, offers, and payment collection.
Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
Perform daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies to the Store Manager.
Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company policies.
Maintain proper records of bills, receipts, and other cash-counter documents.
Coordinate with the sales team regarding billing, product details, discounts, and offers.
Ensure the cash counter and billing area are clean and organized.
Assist customers with billing-related queries in a polite and professional manner.
Support the store team during peak hours and promotional periods.
Follow all company policies related to cash handling, billing, inventory, and store operations.
Required Skills:
3-4 years of experience as a Cashier/Billing Executive in retail.
Experience in fashion retail, apparel, lifestyle, or similar retail environments is preferred.
Good knowledge of POS billing systems.
Strong numerical and basic calculation skills.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to handle cash and digital payments accurately.
Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel/computer operations.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and on retail holidays.
