Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:

  • Greeting customers and providing assistance with product inquiries, recommendations, and selection. 

  • Handling customer complaints or concerns with a positive and helpful attitude. 

  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. 

  • Maintaining a positive and engaging attitude to enhance the customer experience. 

• Store Operations:

  • Restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively. 

  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including tasks like dusting, sweeping, and tidying up. 

  • Assisting with inventory management and conducting regular stock counts. 

  • Following store policies and procedures regarding security, safety, and loss prevention.  

• Teamwork and Communication:

  • Working effectively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations. 

  • Communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and supervisors. 

  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive work environment. 

• Other Duties:

  • Following instructions from supervisors and team leaders. 

  • Handling cash and other payment methods accurately. 

  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Customer service skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 

• Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems: Ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently. 

• Product knowledge and merchandising skills: Familiarity with products and ability to arrange and display items effectively. 

• Teamwork and communication skills: Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly. 

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic: Willingness to learn, contribute, and maintain a positive attitude.
