Job Title: Cashier

Location: Greater Noida West

Reports To: Store Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The role involves processing payments, maintaining cash registers, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.

• Process cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments accurately.

• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and change as required.

• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance it at the end of each shift.

• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.

• Assist in stocking shelves and keeping the checkout area clean and organized.

• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

• Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and security.

• Support inventory checks and other store operations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous cashier or customer service experience is an advantage.

• Basic mathematical and computer skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items when required.
