Job Summary:

The Bank Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day banking operations, maintaining compliance with banking regulations, and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves managing back-office activities, processing transactions, and coordinating with internal teams to support branch and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and cheque clearances accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain and update customer records in the bank’s system while ensuring data confidentiality.

• Assist in opening new accounts, processing loan applications, and verifying KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation.

• Monitor daily branch operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and bank policies.

• Reconcile financial records, prepare reports, and support audits or inspections.

• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, providing timely resolution or escalation when necessary.

• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., compliance, credit, IT) to resolve operational issues.

• Support branch-level sales and service initiatives as required.

• Contribute to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 0–3 years of experience in banking operations or a related field (freshers with internships may also apply).

• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

• High attention to detail, integrity, and a customer-centric mindset.
