We are looking for a Furniture fitter to join our team at Yuvashakti Foundation to take on furniture making, installation and wooden repairs across residential and commercial projects. This role offers a competitive in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹21,000 and regular work.
Job Summary: We are looking for reliable and skilled Installation Marshall to join hands with us
in delivering seamless on-site installations for modular furniture, fixtures, and retail interiors. As
an Installation Marshall, you will be responsible for executing installations with precision,
maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely completion of work across designated
project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct on-site installation of modular furniture, display units, and fixtures as per design
specifications and technical drawings.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards during installations.
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, warehouse, operations) to ensure timely
material availability and readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues on site.
• Provide daily progress updates and site reports to the Project Manager.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through clean, efficient, and professional work execution.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory responsibly at sites.
Requirements:
• Proven experience/training in modular furniture, carpentry, or interior fit-out
installations. Ability to read and understand layout plans and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and client-handling ability.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience working with modular kitchens, wardrobes, or retail stores is
preferable. Familiarity with power tools and its usage is mandatory.
• Certification in carpentry or fitter (preferred but not mandatory).
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is 10th Pass and 6 months - 1 years of experience. Basic knowledge of tools like saws, drills, hammers and wall panelling is a plus.
