Key Responsibilities
Onsite Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install modular wardrobes, modular kitchens, office workstations, institutional furniture, and bespoke wood fittings based on technical drawings and layouts.
Precision Tool Handling: Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, circular saws, routers, edge-banders, and measurement tools.
Hardware Fitting: Expertly install high-end hardware, hinges, channels, handles, and soft-close mechanisms.
Quality & Alignment: Ensure all structures are perfectly level, aligned, and securely anchored. Sand, touch up, and polish installed pieces to deliver a flawless finish.
Troubleshooting: Address minor on-site modifications, cuts, or adjustments to ensure modular units fit perfectly into uneven spaces.
Coordination & Safety: Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand site specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on-site.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience as an installation carpenter, specifically working with modular furniture, modular kitchens, and commercial/institutional interior projects.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical 2D/3D layout drawings and blue-prints.
Deep understanding of working with materials like MDF, Commercial Ply, HDMR, Laminates, and Veneers.
Proficiency in installing modern modular kitchen hardware (Hettich, Hafele, Blum, etc.).
