Job Summary
The Senior Production Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing interior production activities to ensure timely execution, quality compliance, and cost control. The role involves close coordination with design, purchase, stores, and site teams for smooth factory and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Plan and monitor production schedules for interior furniture, fixtures, and modular works.
Ensure timely production as per approved drawings, BOQs, and project timelines.
Coordinate with machine planners, supervisors, and operators for daily production targets.
Team Coordination & Supervision
Guide and supervise junior production executives and shop-floor staff.
Coordinate with Design team for GFC drawings and revisions.
Work closely with Purchase and Stores teams for material availability.
BOQ, BOM & Material Control
Review BOQs and BOMs for accuracy and feasibility.
Monitor material consumption and control wastage.
Identify variations, extra items, and scope changes.
Quality & Process Control
Ensure production quality as per approved samples and standards.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the shop floor.
Support inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily and weekly production status reports.
Track delays and suggest corrective measures.
Coordinate with site and installation teams for dispatch planning.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure safety norms are followed in the factory and site.
Monitor machine usage and support preventive maintenance planning.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of interior production and fit-out processes.
Ability to read and interpret interior drawings and specifications.
Leadership and team-handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and production planning tools.
Problem-solving and multitasking ability.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma / BE / BTech in Interior Design, Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in interior production / manufacturing.
Experience in retail, commercial, or modular furniture projects preferred.
