Job Title: Senior Furniture Carpenter

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Furniture Carpenter with 5+ years of expertise in furniture manufacturing, assembly, installation, and finishing. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture, assemble, and install wooden furniture according to drawings and specifications.
Operate and maintain woodworking machines and hand tools safely.
Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.
Perform cutting, shaping, laminating, edge banding, polishing, and finishing work.
Inspect completed furniture to ensure quality standards are met.
Repair, modify, and restore furniture as required.
Guide junior carpenters and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture carpentry.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, hardware, and finishing.
Ability to read technical drawings and execute work with precision.
Experience with modular furniture and interior fit-out projects is an added advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Education:

ITI in Carpentry or equivalent qualification preferred.
Relevant hands-on experience is mandatory.
