Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our furniture manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wooden components as per drawings, measurements, and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Read and understand furniture drawings, measurements, and specifications.
Cut, shape, drill, and assemble wooden materials accurately.
Manufacture and assemble furniture components as per design requirements.
Operate carpentry tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Perform edge finishing, polishing, fitting, and other finishing work.
Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and quality of finished products.
Identify and rectify defects or fitting issues during production.
Coordinate with the production and design teams when required.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the workplace.
Minimize material wastage during cutting and production.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of carpentry and furniture manufacturing.
Ability to read basic technical/furniture drawings.
Knowledge of wood, plywood, MDF, laminate, veneer, and related materials.
Skilled in using hand tools and carpentry machinery.
Good measurement and fitting skills.
Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification
ITI Carpenter / relevant technical qualification preferred.
Candidates with strong practical carpentry experience may also be considered.
Experience
0–6 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, retail interiors, or similar carpentry work.
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday | 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
