Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join Swapnil Interiors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing woodworking and furniture-making tasks, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality finishes in line with design specifications. The role requires expertise in carpentry tools, machinery, and on-site installations for interior projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret interior design and architectural drawings.

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden furniture, fixtures, and fittings.

• Work with plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, and other finishing materials.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.

• Repair and refurbish existing wooden structures and furniture when required.

• Collaborate with designers, site supervisors, and other craftsmen for smooth execution.

• Ensure accuracy, precision, and quality finishes in all work.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a •Carpenter•• in interior design, furniture manufacturing, or construction.

• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and finishing.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.

• Skilled in using carpentry tools and woodworking machines.

• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physically fit to handle manual work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in modular furniture and interior projects is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of polishing and finishing techniques.
