Carpenter

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in furniture making, interior fit-out works, and wood joinery. The role involves cutting, assembling, and finishing furniture or wooden structures as per design specifications while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Carpentry & Furniture Work:

• Read and interpret furniture drawings and design specifications.

• Cut, assemble, and finish wooden furniture and panels as per the design.

• Ensure precision and quality in all carpentry work.

Modular Furniture Installation:

• Install modular furniture such as workstations, wardrobes, tables, partitions, etc.

• Conduct site measurements and handle fittings and alignments.

• Ensure proper leveling, fixing, and finishing of all installations.

• Coordinate with the design and production team for smooth site execution.

Machine Operation:

• Operate and maintain woodworking machines, including:

•Panel Saw – for precision cutting of panels.

•Auto Edge Bander – for edge finishing of modular furniture components.

•Multi Boring Machine – for drilling and joinery preparation.

• Maintain machine accuracy, cleanliness, and safety.

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and ensure daily maintenance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in carpentry, furniture manufacturing, or modular furniture installation.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Knowledge of panel-based furniture assembly and hardware fittings.

• Hands-on experience operating woodworking machinery (Panel Saw, Edge Bander, Multi Boring).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Physically fit and able to work in workshop or site environments.

• Team player with a responsible and positive attitude.

Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Carpentry, Woodworking, or relevant technical field (preferred).

• Practical experience in modular furniture manufacturing is a must.

Salary: Based on skills and experience.
