Key Responsibilities

Reading Plans: Study blueprints, sketches, and building instructions to plan daily tasks.
Measuring and Cutting: Shape wood, plastic, or drywall using hand and power tools to exact dimensions.
Structural Framing: Build floors, walls, doorframes, and roof structures.
Fixtures Installation: Fit cabinets, windows, doors, trim, and hardware.
Repairs: Inspect damaged wood or structures and replace defective sections. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Requirements and Skills

Experience: Proven field experience or completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship.
Tool Proficiency: Safe operation of power saws, drills, nail guns, and measuring tools.
Physical Strength: Stamina to stand for long hours, climb, and lift heavy items.
