Job Description

Carpenter – Duties & Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials

  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, wardrobes, and wooden fixtures

  • Repair and maintain wooden furniture, fittings, and structures

  • Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and measurements accurately

  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely (saw, drill, planer, sander, etc.)

  • Perform finishing work such as polishing, varnishing, and laminating

  • Ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of assigned tasks

  • Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area

  • Coordinate with supervisors and other workers as required
