Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Carpenter to handle furniture repairs, woodwork, installation, and general carpentry maintenance . The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the furniture, fixtures, wooden structures, and overall appearance while ensuring quality workmanship and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry work, furniture repairs, and woodwork as required.

Repair and maintain tables, chairs, counters, shelves, cabinets, and wooden fixtures.

Handle installation, fitting, and modification of wooden furniture and structures.

Perform polishing, painting touch-ups, sanding, cutting, drilling, and finishing work.

Ensure all furniture and fixtures are safe, stable, and in good working condition.

Maintain and safely handle carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment.

Keep the work area clean, organized.

Coordinate with the café manager for maintenance schedules and repair priorities.

Complete assigned work within the given timelines.

Follow workplace safety rules and management instructions.

Requirements

Knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, fittings, and techniques.

Ability to repair and install wooden furniture and fixtures independently.

Ability to read measurements and work accurately.

Good problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
