Job Description

The Interior Carpenter will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing wooden structures, furniture, and fittings for residential, commercial, and builder projects. This role requires precision, creativity, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications.- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, and laminates for furniture and fixtures.- Install doors, windows, cabinets, wardrobes, modular kitchens, partitions, and false ceilings.- Repair, refurbish, and maintain existing wooden structures and furniture.- Operate carpentry tools, machines, and equipment safely and efficiently.- Collaborate with interior designers, site engineers, and builders to ensure design accuracy.- Ensure all work meets quality standards, timelines, and compliance with safety regulations.- Maintain inventory of materials and report requirements to the supervisor.- Follow audit-ready documentation practices for material usage and job completion (important for builder compliance).Work Environment- Site-based work (residential/commercial projects).- May involve travel to multiple project locations.- Requires physical stamina and ability to handle tools and materials.
